I have long been drawn toward the healing arts and understand that my devotion of the last 30 years to art and creation in  clay has been a contemplative vehicle for deepening, opening and healing through my work and life.  Indeed, the titles of my pieces hint at the multi-dimensional feelings I am conveying through earthen materials ... Womanspirit, Fragile Hopes,  Prayerstone,  Vision Bowl,  Becoming ... to name but a few.

Massage Therapy offers yet another dimension of creativity and allows the natural evolution of my talents.  It was no accident that I chose a massage school where I studied with a teacher who had recently spent a month with the Dalai Lama in India.  Her competent and prayerful approach to giving and teaching massage immediately resonated with me and she has had an enduring influence on my current practice.

Therapeutic massage can be a powerfully releasing, calming, and centering experience and it gives me joy to touch into that circular, sacred energy of an intentionally-healing massage.  When you come for a massage I offer a unique quality in that I enjoy first spending time with each client doing some guided breathwork and Conscious Movement (something akin to yoga).  This means that by the time you go into the massage room your body and mind have already let go of much tension and you are truly ready to receive.

The actual massage is  90 minutes long and promotes deep relaxation in a candlelit space which holds quiet energy next to the gallery.  After the massage I serve you a cup of herb tea as you become fully present before returning to your day.  Consistent massage can release chronically tense muscles while bringing in a sense of true well-being.  It also helps us remember that we must authentically take care of ourselves while balancing the caretaking of others, or the stress of daily life and work can manifest as disease, persistent exhaustion and lack of joy.

I welcome you to my massage studio in the hill country of Spicewood ~~~ a peaceful and relaxing environment in itself.  The cost for a session is $60. which reflects my intention to make it attainable for most anyone.  Join me.  Blessings!
